Turning One Time Donors
Into
Recurring Donors
After synchronizing your nonprofit's Contacts and Donations, you are now prepared to start asking questions about your data. Let’s first find all of the one-time donors in the last six months.
Create Two Lists By
Donation Type
to find your one-time donors.

Create Your List
Create a new List by clicking on the Lists link in the Navigation bar at the top, Create a new List, and name it One-Time Donors.

Set Your Filters
Donation – Recurring = False
Date – After a date of your choose (you could choose the start date of your company, the beginning of the year/quarter, or whatever works for you).

Pin to Dashboard
Go ahead and choose “pin to dashboard” which will make the list available on your Dashboard tab. Save the list and return to your Dashboard.
Congratulations! You have an instant view of all of your one time donors.
Not what you were looking for? Feel free to add additional filter criteria to zero in on exactly the segment of your donors you need.
Repeat the process, but this time choose Donation – Recurring = True.
Now you have two Lists pinned to your Dashboard with all of your One Time and Recurring Donors.

Easily Integrate Donorbox, or your preferred donation software, to Integro through an integration framework like Zapier so as new donations arrive, Integro will categorize them. They will automatically show up on your One Time Donor list because Lists automatically refresh. You now have immediate insight into all of your One Time and Recurring donors straight from your dashboard
Migrating Donors From One-Time To Recurring
Engage with your one time donors through email or phone. As you follow up with each lead, you can leave notes/comments on each Contact record, so everyone in your organization is on the same page. As donors begin signing up for recurring plans, Integro will automatically sort and categorize them on the Lists you created.

One of the core tenets of Integro is to remain flexible. Perhaps the above flow is not right for you. There are several other ways of gaining the same insights into your data. For example, let’s suppose you do not have any donation data at all, or can’t integrate your data due to a closed legacy system. You can still harness the power of Integro’s Lists feature by using Labels. Here’s how:

Create Two Labels
Let’s create two labels. One Time Donor and Recurring Donor. Navigate to Profile Menu > Labels. Enter each label name, and push Save. If you’d like other users in your organization to have access to these labels, you can go ahead and select the Shared option. Otherwise, the label will be private, and only you can see it.

Create Two Lists By Label Type
Create a new List by clicking on the Lists link in the Navigation bar at the top of the app: Create a new List, and name it One-Time Donors. Scroll down to the filter criteria and add the following filter criteria:
Label – One Time Donors
Date – After a date of your choose (you could choose the start date of your company, the beginning of the year/quarter, or whatever works for you).
Repeat the process, but this time choose Label – Recurring Donors.
Now you have two Lists pinned to your Dashboard with all of your One Time and Recurring Donors, but this time sorted on label vs donation data.

Pin to Dashboard
Apply the One Time or Recurring Donor labels to your contacts. Whether you’d like do this by manually bulk searching and assigning the label, importing a CSV of Contact data from an external system, and tagging them with a label on import, or working with an integration framework like Zapier, Integro can help you gain powerful insights into your nonprofit data.
